About Dr. Yamal Patel
Dr. Yamal Patel is a graduate of PGIMER, Chandigarh, India working as a private OBGYN consultant since 2007 in Nairobi, Kenya.
His area of expertise lies in Minimal Access surgery with a special interest in Endometriosis and Adenomyosis with his colleagues at 3rd Park hospital, he set up the First Endometriosis Treatment Center in Kenya.
- He is currently involved in training colleagues from all around the region at this center, the 3rd Park hospital.
- He is currently the Chair of the KESES (Kenya Society of Endoscopic specialities and has been a board member of the ISGE representing the African Continent.
- He is also a Co-founder of the Laparoscopy Mashinani trust availing minimal access surgery to the needy in the under-privileged society.
- He is the director of the training unit of 3rd Park Hospital and he is regularly involved in the training of advanced laparoscopic surgeries.
